WISCONSIN — Animal rights groups are planning another protest at Ridglan Farms, an animal breeding and research facility outside of Madison, on Sunday.
The company is already under investigation for animal abuse and has agreed to give up its license to sell dogs — but that doesn’t happen until July. It admitted no wrongdoing in the deal and can still conduct its own research.
Sunday’s planned event will be the second mass protest, with an estimated 2,000 people planning to go. Around 60 people broke into the facility last month over its dog breeding practices, even removing dogs from the property. A few dozen people were arrested…
