Kelly Sheffield says Jaela Auguste just made a top-5 play in UW Field House history

Jaela Auguste is going to be really good for the Wisconsin Badgers this season. She’s an elite middle blocker and is showing how impressive she is in the spring. As the spring wrapped up against Northern Illinois, she made a play that had the UW Field House absolutely stunned. But only for a moment before the place erupted. Sheffield called it a top-5 play in the Field House’s history.

So much so that even Auguste, after the game, said she was “in awe of Badger fans.” The play was remarkable and not just because of the power and precision of Auguste’s kill but also because of how Charlie Fuerbringer set it up. She gave a one-handed set to get her middle blocker the kill. It was phenomenal.

Below you can watch the replay, slow-motion, and even what Kelly Sheffield said about it…
