If you’re headed to Syttende Mai celebrations this year, make sure to bring your appetite!
The Sons of Norway – Mandt Lodge Bake Sales will be under the tent from 2-7 p.m. Friday, May 15, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, May 16 and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, May 17, featuring Norwegian and American baked goods, packages of lefse and donuts, rømmegrøt, and beverages.
Syttende Mai luncheon-style sit-down inside meals will be offered from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday. A la carte luncheon buffet including Norwegian and American items will be offered, including varme pølse (wieners in lefse), potatoes, barbeque, meatballs, herring, baked goods, lefse, rømmegrøt, søt suppe (fruit soup), riskrem (rice pudding), cucumber salad, warm red cabbage, and beverages!…
