Milwaukee rapper with cerebral palsy brings message of perseverance to Madison

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – Milwaukee rapper Jaquawn Gaston, known by fans as Rap J, brought his message of perseverance and self-worth to Madison this weekend during a performance at The Rigby.

The artist, who lives with cerebral palsy, says music has become both an outlet and a way to encourage others facing obstacles of their own.

For Gaston, music started early.
