MONONA, Wis. (WMTV) – The Friends of San Damiano brought the Monona community together Saturday for a croquet competition raising money for San Damiano Park.
The inaugural “Spring Lawn Games: Croquet Classic” featured croquet matches along the lakeshore, live music, food trucks and a raffle.
Money raised from the fundraiser will go toward park maintenance and future improvements as the nonprofit takes on full responsibility for stewarding the property this year. San Damiano Park was saved from development by the City of Monona six years ago…
