Earlier this week, the Cumberland Barnes & Noble announced that they’d be officially closing their doors this summer… and Atlantans are super sad to see it go. The 20,000 square foot store, with the classic Barnes & Noble, 2-story architecture, opened in 1996, making it a staple of the community for the past 30 years.
Leaders of Barnes & Noble Cumberland wrote in a statement,
We have loved being a part of your community for the last 30 years and will miss being here. We continue to look for a suitable new store in this neighborhood…
