STOCKBRIDGE, Ga. (Atlanta News First) -Homeowners and HOA boards across Georgia are preparing for major changes to homeowner association oversight following the signing of a new statewide law.
Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp signed the legislation after months of public pressure sparked by an Atlanta News First Investigates series called HOA Nightmares.
Dozens of homeowners gathered in the parking lot at the Monarch Village clubhouse last month to learn about their rights under the new law.
