Traffic stop in Hart County leads to meth trafficking arrests

HARTWELL, Ga. — A traffic stop in Hart County led to the arrests of two men on methamphetamine trafficking charges after deputies allegedly found nearly 40 grams of suspected crystal methamphetamine during a vehicle search.

According to Hart County Sheriff Chris Carroll, a deputy stopped a black 2007 Ford tow truck on Providence Church Road on July 1 after observing multiple traffic and commercial vehicle violations.
