The Mableton Planning Commission recommended denial for a rezoning request for a proposed 90 single-family home development at the intersection of Old Alabama, Cardell and Maxham roads. The development is scheduled to come before the mayor and City Council on August 26 for a final decision.
The rezoning, requested by David Pearson Communities, would rezone 23.1 acres of mostly wooded land.
