A historic cabin that’s among the oldest existing structures in Cobb County is ready to be reconstructed after going through a lengthy expert analysis, according to a Wednesday Facebook post by Cobb Landmarks, a local nonprofit that works to preserve historic sites around the county.
The cabin, known as the Power-Jackson Cabin, was constructed in the early 19th century. It originally stood in east Cobb, off Post Oak Tritt Road.
