Seniors and heroes will receive free admission all day Friday at the North Georgia State Fair.
The fair will offer free admission to all seniors 55 and older. All active, reserve or retired military veterans, law enforcement, firefighters, first responders and healthcare workers will also be admitted free with valid identification.
A senior day special program offering exclusive activities and entertainment will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
In addition, the fair will offer all guests a $30-per-person deal for unlimited rides, not including admission.
The Piccolo Zoppe Boutique Circus will host two shows at 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
The weather Friday is set to be sunny with a high near 89 degrees and a low around 65, with calm winds at around 5 mph in the afternoon.
The fair will be open from 4 p.m. to midnight at Jim Miller Park, 2245 Callaway Road in Marietta.
