SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. — Northside Hospital Atlanta in Sandy Springs is undergoing an expansion and renovation of its emergency department. The department will remain open and operational throughout the project, expected to be completed in early 2028.
The $46 million multi-phase project will add 18 treatment rooms, a new entry and triage area and expanded space for emergency care teams. Construction began April 6.
The project includes renovation of approximately 7,815 square feet of existing ground floor space and construction of a two-story, 67,537-square-foot expansion across the ground and first floors.
