The city of Plano officially earned a spot among the state’s top employers, according to Forbes’ 2026 list of America’s Best Employers By State.
Plano ranked third among city employers in Texas and 72nd among all Texas employers included in the ranking.
How Plano Made The List
Forbes developed the annual rankings with market research firm Statista, surveying more than 245,000 employees at organizations with at least 500 workers across the country.
Employee feedback played a central role in determining the rankings. Workers evaluated their employers on factors including workplace culture, compensation, working conditions, safety, professional development, reputation and overall atmosphere.
