MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A shooting on Interstate 240 near Lamar injured two people and caused a major traffic backup Sunday afternoon.
Officers responded to the shooting just before 5 p.m. The person who was shot was involved in a one-vehicle crash.
The shooting victim was taken to a hospital in non-critical condition, as was another person who was injured in the crash, police said.
