MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – The Memphis Public Library is hosting a free “Repair Café” to help breathe new life into your old items and keep them out of the landfill.
Just bring in one item that needs repair. Whether it’s clothing, small appliances, bikes, or electronics, a group of community volunteers and experts will attempt to fix it for you, all while you wait.
If they can’t repair it right away, they’ll still guide you on what to do next or where to find someone who can help. While there’s no guarantee, they’ll certainly give it their best shot…
