13 accused of smoking marijuana at South Memphis residence, obstructing traffic

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Thirteen people have been charged after they were allegedly seen smoking marijuana and obstructing traffic at a South Memphis residence on Sunday.

Antonio Jones, Octavius Lenore, Deario Watson, Kristopher Jones, Jacob J. Jones, Daryl Crawford, Kevin Deal, Derrick Ray, Ke’Juan Jackson, Terriona Lashae Moorehead, Kaathryn Pitzer-Edmond, Dennis Coleman, and Cedric Antiono Garrison have all been charged with drug charges.

On May 31, minutes before 2 p.m., officers said they responded to a drugs/narcotics violation in the 2000 block of Boyle Avenue in South Memphis, known as a high-crime area with drug sales and shootings.

Several men and women were seen loitering, standing on the sidewalk, obstructing the traffic way, and smoking marijuana in front of the residence, police said.

Airways Station Taskforce Officers, City Wide Taskforce, Homeland Security Investigation, and Federal Bureau of Investigation were also in the area and saw people standing on the sidewalk…
