Man charged with shooting that shut I-240, injured 2

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A 49-year-old man has been arrested and charged after a shooting that injured two people and shut down part of I-240 Sunday afternoon.

Christopher Angelo Thomas is charged with Attempted Second Degree Murder and Use of a Firearm in a Dangerous Felony.

Victims told police the shooting and wreck were the result of a dispute between workers at two rival car washes.
