MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A driver was arrested Wednesday following a high-speed chase that ended with Tennessee troopers boxing him in with their patrol cars.
Timothy Jackson, 28, was charged with evading arrest, reckless endangerment, reckless driving, simple possession of a controlled substance: marijuana, driving while license revoked, and driving an unregistered vehicle.
On June 10, a trooper saw a white BMW traveling north on Hickory Hill Road near Knight Arnold Road at a high rate of speed.
THP said that the driver, later identified as Timothy Jackson, was going 60 mph in a 45 mph zone, and that the vehicle’s plate was scanned and reported to have a canceled registration.
