Memphis woman accused of stealing $150K ambulance

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A woman has been charged after Memphis police say she stole an ambulance from Methodist North Hospital earlier this month.

According to the affidavit, 26-year-old Jazaria Dorsey is charged with theft of property valued between $60,000 and $250,000 in connection with the June 11 incident.

Police said officers responded around 8:35 p.m. to an auto theft call at Methodist North Hospital. Employees with LifeCare Ambulance told investigators they were preparing to transport a patient when they saw a woman get into the ambulance and drive away.
