MS deputy injured after crash with stolen Memphis car

SOUTHAVEN, Miss. — A man told police he found his stolen car, leading to a police pursuit that crossed state lines and injured a DeSoto County deputy on Tuesday.

The stolen car was later recovered in Memphis, but no one was inside, police said.

Around 11:49 a.m., Memphis police officers responded to a reckless driver call in the area of Winchester Road and Lamar Avenue.
