A coordinated federal and state law enforcement operation targeting fugitives and sex offenders resulted in the arrest of 47 people across eastern Arkansas, including 17 in Pine Bluff, officials announced at a press conference Wednesday.
The enforcement effort, led by the U.S. Marshals Service in partnership with multiple federal, state and local agencies, included two operations conducted in June. Operation Trident was carried out June 19-25 in West Memphis, while Operation Call Your Bluff took place June 23-25 in Pine Bluff.
