MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – The federal civil lawsuit filed by the family of Tyre Nichols against the City of Memphis over his death has been amended to dismiss claims against Memphis Police Chief Cerelyn Davis.
Nichols’ mother, RowVaughn Wells, filed the request on March 31 as part of an effort to prevent the trial scheduled for November 9 from being pushed back.
