MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Law enforcement blocked off Gill Avenue and surrounding streets in South Memphis after police say a pedestrian was killed in a crash on Tuesday afternoon.
Police say they responded to the 1400 block of Gill for a crash at 2:20 p.m. A pedestrian who was struck was pronounced dead on the scene.
