MEMPHIS, Tenn. — On Monday, September 14, the city’s sewer team will begin work on South Front Street at Mina and Butler Avenue. Both lanes of traffic along that stretch of road will be closed until September 30, according to the city’s Department of Public Works.
However, the work at G.E. Patterson and South Front Street was wrapped up on Sept. 4, and the intersection was reopened. A welcome development to Michael Johnson, co-owner of the Blue Monkey.
“Much easier coming from the east and coming from the south if you’re coming from President’s Island, or you’re coming from East Memphis if you’re coming up G.E. Patterson, much easier to get to us,” said Michael Johnson.
