MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Shelby County Clerk’s Office will not be doing regular car registration renewals Wednesday as their employees work on a backlog of dealer applications.
The new county clerk, Dr. La Sonya Hall, made the announcement Friday that her office’s staff would be working on the backlog and suspending in-person registration renewals.
All of the county clerk’s office’s other functions, including business and marriage licenses, will continue to operate as normal…
