MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – Two men and a teenager are behind bars after a pursuit that reached up to 120 miles per hour ended with suspects hiding in a stranger’s bathroom in North Memphis, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
On August 28, a THP trooper was on routine patrol in North Memphis when he spotted a black Infiniti Q50 going about 120 mph in a 40 mph zone. The trooper also noted that the vehicle had a fake Tennessee temporary tag.
The trooper attempted to pull the driver over, but he did not stop. The trooper turned on his lights and sirens and pursued the car. Records state that in the pursuit, the driver of the Infiniti turned off the headlights in an attempt to avoid detection…
