The Memphis area’s dining scene saw the addition of three new restaurants in March.
The three new spots serve up everything from Filipino cuisine to dumplings to a courthouse-themed menu.

KUYA
The long-awaited KUYA, a Filipino restaurant and bar, opened Downtown at 327 S. Main St. on March 6. Owned by restaurateur Shayne Diaz, the eatery’s menu is small but packed with flavor. Take the Adobo Rice Bowl — its soy-braised chicken with black peppercorn falls of the bone if you look at it funny. Or the Halo-Halo dessert, a true feast on the eyes and tastebuds with its purple shaved ice, evaporated milk, leche flan and ube ice cream.
