MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Memphis Safe Task Force was caught on camera taking at least three people to the ground in two separate incidents Sunday along Beale Street.
Several cell phones were recording when Chrishaun Akins, better known as South Memphis HypeMan, was tackled by several National Guardsmen.
Moments before it happened, the video shows Akins snapping a belt toward several women. A woman who captured the video said Akins knew the women and was playing around, mostly hitting the ground.
