CHANDLER, AZ (AZFamily) — A stretch of Loop 101 in Chandler has reopened after a vehicle fire shut down southbound lanes early Thursday morning.
Southbound Loop 101, also known as Price Freeway, was closed just south of Ray Road after a vehicle became engulfed in flames.
Arizona’s Family crews at the scene saw a burned flatbed tow truck on the freeway as firefighters worked to put out hot spots.
Details remain limited, and it is unclear if anyone was hurt. Authorities have not said what led up to the fire…
