An adult woman died after being struck by a vehicle while attempting to cross a Phoenix street mid-block on Friday night, authorities said.
Officers responded to a collision involving a pedestrian near 20th Avenue and Camelback Road around 9:50 p.m., according to the Phoenix Police Department.
Upon arrival, first responders located the woman unresponsive in the roadway. The Phoenix Fire Department transported her to a nearby hospital, where she was later pronounced dead. Her identity has not yet been released…
