PHOENIX, AZ — Police in Glendale and Phoenix are investigating a chain of overnight shootings that left three people dead, including a 10-year-old boy and an 18-month-old girl. Investigators say the violence started at a bar near 59th Avenue and Bell Road and ended at a home in Phoenix.
Authorities said officers were first called just after midnight Monday after a man reported that his wife had opened fire at the bar. By the time police arrived, a woman at the scene had already been shot in the back of the head and was taken to a hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
Police say messages led officers to Phoenix home
According to investigators, the man later began getting text messages from 38-year-old Andrea Davis saying she intended to hurt the couple’s children. He then told police she was at a house near 48th Avenue and Paradise Lane in Phoenix.
Officials said the man also received a photo showing one of the children with a head injury. Glendale and Phoenix officers then went to the home, where they found Davis and both children dead from apparent gunshot wounds…
