PHOENIX (AZFamily) — The legal fight over one of downtown Phoenix’s oldest homes is cooling off after Arizona State University said it will drop its case and allow the house to remain.
ASU has been seeking to acquire the Louis Emerson House, a 124-year-old Queen Anne-style home near 4th and Pierce streets. The school is building a new ASU Health headquarters there and plans for a medical school campus.
