PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Dangerously hot temperatures will continue across Arizona to kick off the work week as an Extreme Heat Warning remains in effect for the Phoenix area and lower deserts through Tuesday evening.
While temperatures drop a notch or two compared to Sunday, afternoon highs on Monday will still reach 110 to 116 degrees in the Valley, putting high temperatures right near daily record levels.
The morning will start warm and humid across the Phoenix metro area, with low temperatures only dipping into the mid-80s to low 90s.
