PHOENIX (AZFamily) — It’s a First Alert Weather Day for dangerous heat. An Extreme Heat Warning remains in effect for the Valley and much of the deserts of the state through Friday night.
In the Valley, look for a high of 110 degrees today. That’s five degrees above normal and five degrees shy of the daily record. High humidity today will make it feel a couple degrees warmer.
A surge of moisture is moving into Arizona today, and high pressure is shifting. That’s a combination that will bring an uptick in monsoon storms today…
