PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Not a bad start to our morning, with lows in the mid to upper 80s; this afternoon we will see a high of 103, which is our average this time of year.
We are watching some tropical moisture to the south of us and a ridge to the east that could pull up some monsoonal moisture. Chances for rain will be slim Sunday through Tuesday. Starting on Wednesday, we will see an increasing chance of showers and a few passing thunderstorms.
We could use the rain; we are still below average when it comes to the Monsoon. Hopefully, some of these tropical systems forming out in the Pacific can push in and give us some much-needed rainfall…
