GILBERT, AZ (AZFamily) — A driver was pulled from a pickup truck after crashing through a cinderblock wall and into a backyard pool in Gilbert Saturday morning.
It happened around 11 a.m., when police were called to a home near Elliot Road and Ocean Avenue, just east of McQueen Road. When officers arrived, they found the pickup truck inside the pool.
First responders helped the driver out of the vehicle, according to the Gilbert Police Department. No one else was in the truck, and no other vehicles were involved.
Arizona’s Family crews at the scene saw the maroon pickup with its airbags deployed, front end submerged in the pool and its empty bed hanging over the edge of the water. Cinderblocks from the wall were scattered across the backyard and at the bottom of the pool…
