Months after Eryn Bonner was arrested by Tempe police for allegedly interfering with officers, bodycam footage of her arrest surfaced in the media and has since gone viral.
As attorney Ben Crump came across the footage, he spoke out against it on Facebook. The civil rights attorney, who also represents Nolan Wells’ case, shared the viral video on the social media platform, writing in its caption:
“A Tempe officer shoved ASU senior Eryn Bonner and took her to the ground during a July encounter. She now faces 2 misdemeanor charges, including disorderly conduct, and has pleaded not guilty. Did this encounter really warrant this level of force?! Officers must prioritize restraint and de-escalation whenever possible.”
According to PEOPLE Magazine, the incident that led to Eryn Bonner’s arrest took place in the early hours of July 19, 2026, in Tempe, Arizona. Bonner is a 21-year-old senior at Arizona State University (ASU), graduating with a degree in Health Sciences this year…
