Drunk driver was going 105 mph before deadly Mesa crash, deputies say

MESA, AZ (AZFamily) – Deputies say a man was intoxicated and driving over 100 miles per hour before a collision that left a woman dead in Mesa last week. The crash happened around 1 a.m. on Thursday, April 18, on University Drive near Crismon Road. According to the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office, deputies arrived in the area to find a crash involving a Ford Mustang and a Nissan Frontier.
