PHOENIX (AZFamily) – A deadly crash has shut down a busy road in central Phoenix early Saturday morning, and police are searching for the driver responsible. Phoenix police say the collision happened near 16th Street and Camelback Road around 12:30 a.m. Officers got to the scene and found a man with serious injuries, where he was pronounced dead. Police say another man, who is the driver at fault, ran away from the scene before police arrived.
