PHOENIX — The Phoenix Police Department has vowed to stop using non-U.S. license plates on its unmarked vehicles after a video circulating online appeared to show police vehicles equipped with Mexican plates.
A video posted on social media depicts police making an arrest near 30th Avenue and Indian School Road and two of the unmarked police cars are shown having license plates issued from Mexico.
