Chandler police officers to be honored for saving girl during standoff

CHANDLER, AZ (AZFamily) — Two Chandler police officers are set to be recognized this weekend for risking their lives to save a 7-year-old girl during a domestic violence standoff in January.

Officers Rupert Snedigar and Dallin Bacon responded to a domestic violence call where the child’s father was threatening to hurt her during a standoff with police.

Both officers rushed into action to disarm the man and get the girl to safety…
