Shiv Supper Club: Scottsdale’s Opulent Dining Destination

Old Town Scottsdale’s Camelback Road corridor has seen plenty of openings come and go, but when Riot Hospitality Group took over the former Mint Lounge space in early 2025, they had ambitions beyond opening another bar with food. Meet Shiv Supper Club, Arizona’s first “upscale supper club”, and the group’s most ambitious concept to date.

At nearly 14,000 square feet, the team gutted and rebuilt the space. Cascading greenery softens the high ceilings, custom lighting shifts as the night progresses, and live performers take the stage every night, working through house music, pop, and reimagined covers via a sound system that fills every corner of the room.

Drinks

For drinks, expect martinis like the savory Well Dressed (gin, vermouth, and lemon olive oil, served with popcorn) or the Salt & Vinegar, made with chip-infused vodka and pickle brine, paired with chips on the side. Beyond the martinis, cocktails lean into more playful combinations, like the Secret Stash with mezcal, rum, falernum, lime, and honey.

Food

Sweet, savory, and a touch of heat.

Then comes the nuggets and caviar, and the table shifts. Perfectly crisp chicken arrives finished with shaved parmesan, charred romaine aioli, and a generous hit of roe. Within minutes, someone at the table will want to order another round. Moving into the entrées, the Chilean sea bass keeps things bright, lemon vinaigrette, arugula, nothing overdone. The salmon with caviar and the short rib ragù round out the options for anyone leaning toward something with more depth…
