Woman shot by Scottsdale officer in police station lobby booked into jail, facing several charges

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — The woman who was shot by a police officer after allegedly pointing a gun at people in the lobby of a Scottsdale police station has been released from the hospital and booked into jail, Scottsdale Police said.

Eva Josefina Garcia, 23, from Goodyear, was arrested for the April 30 incident that occurred at the McKellips Police Station, at McKellips and Miller roads, according to SPD.
