Mesa family nearly hit by plane making emergency landing on US 60 near Superior

SUPERIOR, AZ (AZFamily) — A Valley family of four narrowly avoided a head-on collision with a small plane making an emergency landing on U.S. 60 near Superior during the weekend.

Kristal Ewing, her husband and their two children were driving home to Mesa after a Mother’s Day hike when they noticed a small plane flying in front of them.
