Portion of roof collapses at strip mall in north Phoenix

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Fire crews are on scene after a partial building collapse at a strip mall in north Phoenix late Thursday morning.

First responders were called to a business on Cave Creek Road near Greenway Road shortly before 12 p.m. There, they found that a section of the roof and awning had collapsed.

Rescue crews searched the area, but no one was hurt. Employees reported to fire crews that everyone got out safely.
