Man ‘beyond resuscitation’ after pulled from Phoenix pool

PHOENIX — A man pulled from a backyard pool in Phoenix on Thursday could not be revived, the fire department said.

Crews were dispatched to reports of a drowning at about 3:30 p.m. in the area of 67th Avenue and Indian School Road and found a man who had been removed from a swimming pool.

The unconscious individual was not breathing and was assessed as being “beyond resuscitation,” the fire department said…
