A man was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries after a shooting Wednesday night near 19th Avenue and Bell Road in north Phoenix, turning an already tense stretch of Bell Road into an active crime scene as officers searched for the gunman.
Phoenix police say officers were called out around 8 p.m., where they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to a hospital in serious condition. Investigators followed a trail of evidence to a nearby apartment but did not find a suspect inside, and police have not released any description of the shooter, according to Arizona’s Family.
