The most prestigious Italian pizza guide has released its annual lists of the best pizzerias around the world, and several Miami spots have made the list, including a beloved slice shop and a swanky new(ish) restaurant in Wynwood.
Sometimes referred to as the “Michelin Guide” of pizza, 50 Top Pizza has released its annual rankings in several categories, including the top 50 pizza spots in the United States and the best slice shops.
Three Miami-area restaurants were mentioned in the top 50 pizzerias in the U.S., and the highest was Francesco Martucci Miami in Wynwood at no. 5. Martucci, whose restaurant I Masanelli in Caserta, Italy, was ranked the best pizza restaurant in the world, opened the Miami restaurant in January…
