MIAMI — A fingerprint left on a pair of sunglasses inside a ransacked Miami home helped detectives crack a nearly two-month-old burglary that they say left victims without an estimated $150,000 in jewelry.
Miami police confirmed the arrest of 37-year-old Quindy Janvier on Thursday in connection with the May 26 break-in at a home in the 2600 block of Southwest 23rd Avenue in the city’s Silver Bluff Estates neighborhood.
According to an arrest report, officers responded to the home shortly before noon on May 26 after a woman arrived, heard a bedroom door slam and “discovered the home in disarray.”…
