Local News Stations are reporting on the arrest of three men in Virginia Gardens on Human Trafficking Charges with minors. According to the WPLG Local 10, the three men were arrested at a Virginia Gardens hotel Thursday after allegedly agreeing to “pay anywhere from $250 to $650 for sex with children.”
The three men arrested were Xavier Lopez, Dominick Muñoz, and Alain Pacheco.

Miami-Dade Corrections Records show 30 year old, Xavier Lopez, was charged with the following:
- Human Trafficking of a person under 18 years
- COMPUTER SERVICE/ TRAVEL/ MEET MINOR/ IN/ OUT STATE/ P
- COMPUTER SERVICES/ CERTAIN USES PROHIBITED/ PARENT
According to a CBS 4 Miami report, Lopez is a “labor union organizer” for the United Teachers of Dade. Ironically, the UTD is headquartered just down the street from the VG Hotel Lopez where Lopez was arrested. CBS 4 also reports that Lopez is the “vice president for the South Florida chapter of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute.”
